Review by hotel critic
Hotel Sorrento City is a delightful boutique experience that combines comfort and an enviable location, making it perfect for travelers seeking a taste of Italy's rich culture. Just a stone's throw from the vibrant Piazza Tasso, my fiancée and I found it incredibly convenient to immerse ourselves in the local scene, with a plethora of cafés and restaurants on our doorstep. The attentive staff, balancing professionalism with a friendly demeanor, made our stay enjoyable; they were always eager to assist without intruding on our intimate moments together. Our mornings began with a generous breakfast buffet that offered both sweet and savory options, setting us up perfectly for a day of exploration. As a culinary critic, I appreciated not only the hotel’s cleanliness but also how it seamlessly integrates with the allure of the surrounding Sorrento Peninsula, providing easy access to stunning attractions like Capri and Positano. With its charming rooftop terrace that overlooks the main street, our evenings were made magical—enjoying champagne as the sun set over the Gulf of Naples. My experience at Hotel Sorrento City is one I'd cherish and recommend for those eager to explore the beauty of this enchanting region.
